The Scientific Association of Arab Nursing
Faculties was established in October 1998. The office of the president of
Alzaytoonah University
initiated its establishment. The Dean of Nursing approved it and asked from the
Union General of Arab Universities to host the Scientific Association of Arab nursing
faculties at the Faculty of Nursing of Alzaytoonah University in Amman/Jordan on
a permanent basis.
The Faculty of Nursing then started its preparation
for the first conference to establish the Scientific Association of Arab Nursing
Faculties. The Deans of Nursing of member faculties in the Union General of Arab
Universities were invited to participate in this first conference.
